Who we are

What is Reborn Ranch?

Reborn Ranch is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry in Hampton, Iowa, dedicated to making a Kingdom impact by bringing hope, life, and a future to youth, families, and communities through Jesus Christ. We host youth camps, family nights, women’s retreats, worship nights, and community events throughout the year.

Where are you located?

We are located in Hampton, Iowa. Tours are available by appointment.

What is your mission?

Our mission is to create a safe, Christ-centered place where youth and families can learn life skills, experience the ranch, and encounter the hope of Jesus.

Summer camp details

What ages can attend camp?

Camp is open to youth ages 11–16.

How much does camp cost?

Camp is completely free thanks to the generosity of donors and Wrangler Partners. Donations are always appreciated and help us cover camp costs, but please never feel pressured to give. We never want finances to be a barrier for any child to experience camp at Reborn Ranch.

What do campers do?

Campers enjoy horseback riding, gardening, ranch chores, Bible lessons, worship, life skills training, games, crafts, and team-building activities.

Do kids need horse experience?

Not at all! Beginners are welcome, and our team will guide them safely.

Is camp faith-based?

Yes. We teach biblical truth, pray together, and share the gospel in a gentle, age-appropriate way.

How do I register my child for camp?

Registration opens on our website when camp dates are announced. Spots fill quickly, so keep an eye on our updates!

Who staffs the camp?

Camp is led by a mix of trained volunteers and paid staff. We do hire a few staff members for camp; our counselors and some of our leaders receive a weekly salary.

How do I apply to be camp staff?

How do I volunteer?

Absolutely! We need volunteers year-round — not just for camps, but for events and daily ranch needs. If you’re interested in helping, visit our website and fill out the volunteer application. We’ll reach out to schedule an interview.

Do I need experience?

No experience is needed — just a willing heart. We’ll help you find a good fit and provide any needed training.

What volunteer roles are available?

Volunteers help with camps, events, meals, horses, cleaning, hospitality, life skills, and behind-the-scenes tasks like office work and setup. There’s something for everyone.

Can I volunteer outside of camp season?

Yes! There is always work to do year-round, from ranch care to event help, maintenance, and more.

Supporting the mission

How can I donate?

You can give through our website or by mail. Mailing Adreese is Reborn Ranch 1518B Hwy 65 Hampton, Iowa 50441 One-time gifts and monthly partners both help us keep camp free and the ranch running. There are many costs that make up our annual budget. If ever you want more information on where your money goes, please email or call our office. We would love to talk with you further.

What is a Wrangler Partner?

A Wrangler Partner is someone who commits to giving monthly (for example, $100/month) to help fund camp, animal care, events, and ongoing operations.

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes. Reborn Ranch is a registered 501(c)(3), so gifts are tax-deductible.

What if I can’t give monthly?

That’s okay. Give only as you feel led and are able. We’re grateful for every prayer, every act of service, and every gift — large or small.

Life on the ranch

What events do you host?

We host women’s retreats, worship nights, family nights, youth events, community meals, and more throughout the year.

Can I rent the ranch for an event?

Yes, the ranch can be rented for certain gatherings and retreats. For rental details and availability, please email rebornranchhampton@gmail.com.

Can I come visit the ranch?

Yes — visitors are welcome Tuesday-Friday we are open. You can come out have a coffee, hang out, do a bible study. You can also come shop our merch. We have Reborn Ranch Apperal and Christian gifts! Want some more info? Call or email us. Reach out to schedule a tour. We are in the office Tuesday-Friday. If you call and we dont answer, leave a message. We could be out on the ranch with horses and doing chores :).

Horses & hands-on experiences

Can my child or family interact with the horses?

Yes. During camp, events, and certain volunteer opportunities, kids and families may have the chance to help care for and spend time with the horses under supervision.

Do you accept donated animals?

We consider donated animals on a case-by-case basis, depending on our capacity and the needs of the ranch. Please contact us to discuss.

🛡️ Safety

Care & protection

Are staff and volunteers background-checked?

Yes. Safety is a top priority, and staff/volunteers in direct roles with youth are screened and trained.

What safety measures do you have in place?

We use structured supervision, clear rules, emergency plans, and first-aid protocols. Camp activities and horse interactions are always guided by trained leaders.
